Referencing the location, activities and other members of the group are all good details to help personalise a thank you letter. The letter writer should also include details of what the night meant to him or her and what those who organised or attended the event meant to him or her. Though there will normally be a number of thank you letters sent after a stag or hen night (one to each organiser or attendee), the letter writer should work hard to personalise each one and keep them from sounding like generic, impersonal form letters.
